Both Bundesliga clubs, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, have advanced to the Round of 16 in the FIFA Club World Cup. According to a report by Kicker, the prize money amounts for the German teams have been detailed.

For Bayern Munich, their earnings begin with a €28.9 million participation fee. Adding €3.4 million for their two group stage victories and €6.5 million for reaching the last 16, their current total stands at €38.8 million. Progressing to the quarter-finals would add another €11.3 million, the semi-finals €18.1 million, and reaching the final €25.8 million. The ultimate winners of the tournament are set to earn €34.4 million.

Borussia Dortmund`s prize money structure differs slightly. Due to varying entry fees for UEFA clubs, their initial participation fee is a bit lower at €23 million. Despite earning slightly more in performance bonuses (€4.3 million) compared to Bayern, including their Round of 16 qualification bonus, Dortmund`s total earnings so far amount to €33.8 million.
