Benfica interested in signing Pablo Torre

Football News

Portuguese club Benfica is reportedly showing interest in securing the transfer of Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre.

According to sources, fellow Portuguese side Porto had previously approached the 22-year-old Spanish player during the winter transfer window, but a move did not materialize at that time. The prospect of joining a Portuguese club could be appealing to the footballer, provided he receives assurances regarding his opportunities for playing time.

So far in the 2023/24 season, Torre has made 14 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists. His current contract with the Catalan club is set to expire on June 30, 2026.

Football portal Transfermarkt estimates the player`s current market value to be 6 million euros.
