FC Barcelona is finalizing the process of settling salary arrears from 2020.
A final payment totaling 16 million dollars is scheduled for June 30. This amount will be distributed among all the players and coaches who agreed to defer their salaries back in 2020. Notable names include Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Ousmane Dembélé, Antoine Griezmann, and others.
It is noted that the largest single debt Barcelona owes is to Lionel Messi, whose final payment is reported to be 5.95 million euros. Representatives for the former club forward have confirmed that Barcelona has duly met its obligations.
