It had been widely reported, but the official announcement arrived just moments ago: Fiorentina has completed the signing of Jacopo Fazzini on a permanent deal. The midfielder is set to reinforce the Viola squad. The club published a statement on its official website regarding the acquisition:
ACF Fiorentina announces the permanent acquisition of the registration rights of the player Jacopo Fazzini from Empoli F.C. Born in Massa on March 16, 2003, Fazzini grew up in the Azzurri youth sector and, after making his Serie A debut at just 19 years old, has already made 76 appearances across the league and Coppa Italia, scoring 7 goals. The new Viola midfielder has also represented all levels of the Italian national youth teams and participated in the Under 21 European Championship.

Empoli Football Club announces it has reached an agreement with Acf Fiorentina for the permanent transfer of the registration rights of Jacopo Fazzini. The player will join the Viola squad starting from July 1st.
