Following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, the German football portal Transfermarkt.de has released updated market values for 485 Bundesliga players, revealing several significant changes across the league.
The most substantial decrease in valuation was applied to Bayern Munich`s star striker, Harry Kane. His market value has fallen by a notable €15 million, moving from €90 million down to €75 million.
Tobias Kröger, Transfermarkt`s Market Value Coordinator for Germany, explained the primary reason for this adjustment: “Due to his age, Kane will receive the biggest downgrade of his career.”
Despite scoring 10 fewer league goals compared to his outstanding debut season in 2023/24, the 31-year-old still managed to finish the campaign as the Bundesliga`s top scorer, netting 26 goals.
Kröger further commented on Kane`s standing: “He is still the most valuable player of his age category, but at the same time, it is also evident that he couldn’t repeat his outstanding first season in the Bundesliga.”
Looking at the very top of the rankings, Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen continue to be recognized as the league`s most valuable players, each maintaining a valuation of €140 million.
On the other end of the spectrum, the largest market value increases were awarded to Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) and Hugo Ekitiké (Eintracht Frankfurt). Both players saw their valuations rise by a considerable €20 million.
Olise is now valued at €100 million, which positions him as the third-most valuable player in the Bundesliga. Ekitiké’s significant value increase brings his valuation level with Harry Kane at €75 million.
