Inter: Bonny Arrives, Dumfries Clause Emerges, Calhanoglu Saga Continues

Football News

Inter Milan has officially completed its third signing of the summer transfer window. Following Sucic and Luis Henrique, **Ange-Yoan Bonny** is now also a new Nerazzurri player. The French centre-forward arrives from Parma in a deal worth a total of €25 million and has signed a contract until 2029, with a net salary of €2 million per season. Bonny, born in 2003, represents the symbol of the new `green line` strategy promoted by Oaktree: focusing on young, talented players with significant growth potential and resale value. This marks a clear departure from the recent past, aligning with the directives of the Californian fund.

Meanwhile, the future of **Hakan Calhanoglu** appears increasingly distant from Milan. After a recent public disagreement with Lautaro, Galatasaray remains in pole position for the Turkish midfielder, but they have so far only offered €15 million, a figure deemed inadequate by Inter. It`s possible the deal could close around €30 million, but the club hopes to generate at least €35-40 million from his sale. Al Hilal, managed by Inzaghi, is also reportedly in the running and is ready to offer the player a highly lucrative contract.

The departure of the former AC Milan player might not be the only one. Denzel Dumfries has a €30 million release clause that can be activated until mid-July. Frattesi, Bisseck, Asllani, and Marcus Thuram (protected by an €85 million clause) also remain under close observation regarding their futures. Mehdi Taremi is also expected to leave. The future of players over 30 – including Yann Sommer, Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan – will depend on Oaktree`s strategic direction. The team`s core will be built around Lautaro Martinez, Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Federico Dimarco. For the post-Calhanoglu midfield, Beppe Marotta is targeting **Ederson**, although Rovella and Stiller are also appreciated. In defense, eyes are on Giovanni Leoni from Parma and Koni De Winter from Genoa.
