Barcelona`s head coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, is also said to be interested in bringing the midfielder to the Catalan club. The source indicates that discussions about a potential transfer have already taken place between Flick and Perisic. Perisic`s current contract with PSV runs until June 30, 2025. The player has reportedly decided to halt contract talks with his current club while awaiting clarity on Barcelona`s plans.

Last season, Perisic had a productive campaign for PSV, scoring 16 goals and providing 11 assists across 39 appearances.
