Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic, 27, has endured a difficult period marked by significant injuries since his transfer to Wolves from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2022.
Given his history with injuries, a permanent departure from Wolves is considered improbable. However, the possibility of him remaining at the club to compete for a place with Jorgen Strand Larsen has not been entirely ruled out.
The forward missed the entirety of the 2024/25 season after sustaining a serious knee injury while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. This particular setback kept him sidelined for a total of 14 months.
Before his move to England, Kalajdzic was prolific for Stuttgart, scoring 24 goals in 60 appearances between 2019 and 2022. His form there prompted Wolves to sign him as a replacement for the injured Raul Jimenez.
