The 26-year-old French international was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. He is currently in Miami and is scheduled to undergo further medical examinations. The club has not yet provided an estimated timeline for the forward`s recovery and return to action.
In the 2024/25 season, Mbappé has made a significant impact for Real Madrid, participating in 56 matches across all competitions. During this period, he has scored 43 goals and provided 5 assists.
The Madrid team is currently in the United States participating in the Club World Cup. Real Madrid recently drew 1-1 against Al Hilal on June 18 and is set to play against Pachuca on June 22.
