Leaked Look at PUMA’s Premier League 2025/26 Winter Ball Design

Football News

The upcoming Premier League season will see a significant change as PUMA steps in to replace Nike as the official ball supplier, concluding Nike`s 25-year association with the league.

Following the initial reveal of the standard home ball – the sleek white, purple, and pink Puma Orbita Ultimate PL – images have now emerged, reportedly leaking the design of PUMA’s first-ever winter ball intended for the Premier League.

Named “Lights,” the design for the winter ball features a distinctive volt yellow gradient that transitions into a deeper yellow base. This vibrant background is accented with striking dark purple and pink graphics.

This bold and bright aesthetic is strategically designed to maximize visibility for players and fans during challenging winter match conditions, which are typical throughout the Premier League season.

Mirroring the standard home ball, the “Lights” winter ball is constructed using the same Orbita 3 model. It maintains a 12-panel configuration, ensuring balanced weight distribution. Furthermore, it features larger and deeper seams than previous models, which are intended to enhance aerodynamics and overall performance, particularly when facing adverse weather elements.

The ball is expected to have its official public unveiling in October 2025, conveniently timed just before the start of the Premier League’s demanding winter fixture schedule.

Its introduction will mark a new era for the league`s equipment history: PUMA will become only the third brand ever to hold the prestigious role of supplying Premier League match balls, following the foundational eight seasons supplied by Mitre and the extensive 25-year period with Nike.

Based on the leaked visuals, it appears PUMA is prepared to make a bright and memorable impact as they launch their partnership with the Premier League.
