Ligue 1 Clubs Target Conference League Top Scorer

Football News

Amifico Pululu, the 26-year-old striker who finished as the top scorer in the recent UEFA Europa Conference League campaign (won by Chelsea), is reportedly drawing significant attention from several clubs in France`s Ligue 1.

Pululu, currently playing for Polish side Jagiellonia, netted eight goals in 12 appearances in this season’s Conference League. His impressive performances in European competition, combined with his overall season record of 21 goals in 53 games, have sparked considerable interest from French teams.

Among the clubs reportedly interested in the DR Congo forward are Paris FC, FC Metz, AJ Auxerre, and FC Lorient. Notably, three of these teams were promoted to Ligue 1 from Ligue 2 at the end of last season. Paris FC, in particular, is said to be aiming for an ambitious transfer window.

Despite his goal-scoring exploits in Europe, Pululu is not expected to command a high transfer fee, potentially making him an attractive target for French clubs facing financial constraints. He is understood to be available for a fee in the range of €3 million to €4 million.
