Inter President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta shared his thoughts with Sky Sport just before the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. He expressed the immense emotion surrounding the year`s most crucial match and acknowledged the significant support from the fans.
Asked about Ernesto Pellegrini, Marotta described him as primarily a sports enthusiast and a great president, but emphasized his character as a great man always ready to help others. Marotta added that he has lost a significant reference point and that one of the great executives of the past is gone.
Regarding changes since the Istanbul final, Marotta noted that 7 of the 11 players are the same but have gained significant experience facing top European sides over the past two years.
