Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has been left out of the squad for the team`s final group stage match in the Club World Cup against Salzburg.
This follows his hospitalization on June 19 due to an intestinal infection. The 26-year-old forward was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis but was discharged from a Miami hospital the same day. Reports indicated he lost up to 5 kg as a result of the illness.
The match between Real Madrid and Salzburg is scheduled for June 27.
