Davie Selke, the 30-year-old forward, is expected to become a free agent this summer as contract negotiations with Hamburger SV for a new deal have reportedly broken down.
While RB Leipzig, Selke`s former club from 2015 to 2017, have been linked with re-signing him, it appears they face competition for his signature.
Reports indicate that three English Premier League sides – West Ham United, Fulham, and recently-promoted Leeds United – are also interested in acquiring the forward on a free transfer.
However, despite the Premier League interest, RB Leipzig is reportedly still the favourite to sign the German striker, who has played his entire career domestically.
He comes off a strong season, having finished as the top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga last term with 22 goals.
