Napoli’s Growing Transfer Kitty: 23 Million Raised from Sales

Football News

Napoli is actively involved in the early stages of the summer transfer market. The club, led by Aurelio De Laurentiis, is making moves both for potential incoming players and by offloading talent. These departures are crucial in building a significant transfer fund, often referred to as a “treasure chest,” which is intended to finance future signings for the Neapolitan side in the coming weeks.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, the club has already secured approximately 23 million euros through player sales. This revenue stems from three transactions that are understood to be largely finalized.

The first deal involves the Brazilian defender Natan, who impressed during his time at Betis. The Spanish club decided to make his move permanent, completing the transfer for a fee of 9 million euros. Similarly, goalkeeper Elia Caprile has been permanently signed by Cagliari. Caprile`s six-month loan spell in Sardinia was successful, convincing the Rossoblu to activate their buy option from Napoli for 8 million euros. Also moving to Cagliari is midfielder Gaetano, with Napoli receiving 6 million euros for his transfer.

The next expected departure is Rafa Marin. Villarreal is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for the defender. This move is anticipated to initially involve a paid loan bringing in 1 million euros for Napoli, with a potential buy option for Villarreal set around 15 million euros.
