Paraguay Squad Announced by Coach Alfaro: Sanabria Included. Can They Bounce Back Against Uruguay and Brazil?

Football News

The decisions have been made and revealed. The head coach of the Paraguayan national team, Gustavo Alfaro, has announced the full squad list of players called up to participate in the South American qualifiers scheduled for June against Uruguay and Brazil.

A total of 27 players have been summoned for duty. The main new addition is the return of captain Gustavo Gomez. Forward Alex Arce and defender Saúl Salcedo were left out of this squad, while the inclusion of `Tony` Sanabria is notable. The Torino forward has had a rather unproductive season, contributing only 2 goals and 1 assist in 26 league matches.
