Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is making a strong play for Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, reportedly offering two players to sweeten the deal. While Barcelona has also expressed interest, PSG appears to be more advanced in negotiations, with a potential transfer fee around €150 million being discussed.
According to reports, PSG is willing to include Kang-In Lee and Goncalo Ramos as part of the package to secure Alvarez. Initially reluctant to part with Kang-In Lee, PSG is now considering him for inclusion in a deal, especially given his contract situation. Goncalo Ramos, a Portuguese forward, is also seen as a potential direct replacement for Alvarez.
Atletico Madrid’s Sporting Director, Mateu Alemany, is reportedly interested in both players. Atletico had previously attempted to sign Kang-In Lee in January, but the move didn’t materialize. Alemany also holds Ramos in high regard, although other clubs are also showing interest in the Portuguese forward.
The situation remains fluid, as it is still unclear whether Julian Alvarez himself wishes to depart Atletico Madrid and where his future priorities lie. He has not yet publicly committed to remaining with the Madrid club.
