Pochettino Denies Spurs Return, Expresses Confidence in Club’s Survival

Football News

Mauricio Pochettino has once again clarified his position regarding a potential return to Tottenham Hotspur, firmly distancing himself from such links. Despite persistent speculation, the former Spurs manager confirmed there has been no contact from the London club, nor from Real Madrid. While ruling out an immediate comeback, Pochettino expressed strong belief that his old club would successfully avoid relegation, despite their current struggles in what has been a challenging season.

Pochettino, who notably guided Tottenham to some of their most significant achievements during his tenure from 2014 to 2019, is currently committed to his role as head coach of the United States men’s national team. His contract with US Soccer is set to conclude in August, following this summer’s World Cup. Consequently, he will not be available to take on a new club position until after his current commitments with the USMNT are fulfilled.
