Real Madrid Defender David Alaba Sidelined for a Month

Football News

Real Madrid defender David Alaba has suffered a muscle injury.

Due to this issue, the 33-year-old Austrian player is expected to be sidelined for approximately a month.

The problem affects the soleus muscle in his left leg. This follows a previous injury in April when he was diagnosed with a torn internal meniscus in his left knee.

Last season, Alaba played 14 matches for Real Madrid across all competitions. He had only recently returned to the squad in January after being out for nearly a year with a previous injury.
