Real Oviedo Secures Brandon Domingues as First Reinforcement for LaLiga

Football News

Real Oviedo has officially announced the signing of French attacking player Brandon Domingues, arriving from Debrecen VSC. The footballer has penned a contract that will see him stay with the Asturian club until June 30, 2028. This makes him the first official reinforcement for their much-anticipated return to the Primera División, coinciding with the club`s centenary year.

Born in Grenoble on June 6, 1998, Domingues, now 25, began his football education in the youth sector of Troyes, where he also made his professional debut in Ligue 2. He later moved to Hungary, playing for both Budapest Honvéd and Debrecen. In his most recent season at Debrecen, he was particularly impressive, scoring 12 goals and providing 3 assists across 31 appearances.

The player has already successfully passed his medical examinations at Clínica Asturias. He was unexpectedly revealed on Tuesday evening during the presentation event for the new official jersey for the 2025-2026 season. This event held significant symbolic importance for the club as it prepares to celebrate 100 years since its foundation while simultaneously making its comeback to Spain`s top flight.

Blessed with speed, technical skill, and a good finishing ability, Domingues brings international experience and attacking quality to Real Oviedo`s squad. His arrival serves as a clear indication of the club`s ambition heading into the new season in LaLiga.
