Sevilla`s press service has responded to inquiries regarding the potential transfer of Zenit striker Mateo Cassierra.
Earlier reports from journalist Uriel Lugt suggested that the Spanish club was interested in the 28-year-old Colombian forward.
However, Sevilla has denied these claims. In a statement to “Sport-Express,” the club`s press service indicated their focus lies elsewhere, saying:
“Is Sevilla interested in Zenit striker Cassierra? At the moment, we have different targets.”
Last season, Cassierra was a key player for Zenit, participating in 39 matches. During this period, he scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists.
