Lecce President Saverio Sticchi Damiani attended the press conference for the presentation of the new coach, Eusebio Di Francesco, and his staff. Sticchi Damiani expressed great satisfaction with the choice, hoping for the start of a long cycle after a period characterized by frequent changes on the bench, despite the successes of previous years under the current technical area.
He emphasized how Di Francesco and his staff embody the club`s values and how the decision was immediate for Corvino and Trinchera. Regarding technical qualities, the president quoted a thought of his: “Better than a good and winning coach is only a good coach who has been unlucky in recent years. He will have even greater motivations that we will heavily rely on.”
