Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, and Club Brugge Show Interest in Inter Midfielder Aleksandar Stanković

Bundesliga News

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, two clubs from the German Bundesliga, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, have made inquiries regarding Inter Milan`s midfielder Aleksandar Stanković. Aleksandar, the son of Dejan Stanković, spent the previous season on loan with Luzern in the Swiss Super League.

Belgian side Club Brugge is another club reportedly interested in acquiring Stanković. The 19-year-old midfielder participated in 40 matches for Luzern last season, registering three goals and two assists across all competitions. Following his loan period in Switzerland, he is expected to return to Inter this summer; his contract with the Italian club runs until 2028.

Stuttgart is actively working to reinforce their squad, having offered a contract extension to Nick Woltemade. However, they seem resigned to losing midfielder Enzo Millot this summer. The French player reportedly has a €20 million release clause, which has attracted interest from clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and teams in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg is undergoing changes with the appointment of Dutch manager Paul Simonis as their new head coach. The club is also reportedly pursuing a loan deal for Copenhagen`s Elias Jelert, which includes an option for a permanent transfer.
