Tierno Barry Could Be Heading to Everton

According to reports from Football Espana, English Premier League club Everton is showing significant interest in signing French forward Tierno Barry from Spanish side Villarreal.

The report indicates that the contract of the 22-year-old striker includes a release clause set at 40 million euros. Everton is reportedly prepared to pay this amount to secure his services. However, Villarreal is currently planning for Barry to remain with the club for the 2025/26 season.

In the recently concluded 2024/25 season, Barry made 41 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal, scoring 19 goals and providing 4 assists. His current contract with the Yellow Submarine runs until June 30, 2029.

Transfermarkt values the player`s market price at 20 million euros.
