Wolves Prepare Offer Over €20m for Flamengo Attacker Wallace Yan

Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Premier League side, are reportedly preparing to submit a bid exceeding €20 million for Flamengo`s 20-year-old striker, Wallace Yan, within the coming days.

The Molineux club is undergoing significant squad restructuring this summer as they aim to bolster the team for manager Vitor Pereira.

This activity follows the sale of Brazilian attacker Matheus Cunha to Manchester United, a transfer which reportedly earned Wolves over €73 million.

While Jorgen Strand Larsen`s loan spell has been made permanent and Fer Lopez has joined from Celta Vigo, the club`s recruitment appears to be ongoing.

Striker Goncalo Guedes has been made available in the transfer market, indicating that bringing in at least one additional attacker is still on Wolves` agenda.

Flamengo`s promising young attacker, Wallace Yan, is understood to be their latest target, and they are reportedly set to make a concrete move for the Brazilian player.

According to information from Brazilian journalist Bruno Lemos, Wolves “are expected to submit an official offer” soon, with the proposed transfer fee anticipated to be in excess of €20 million.

The versatile 20-year-old is capable of playing as a central striker, a supporting forward, and is also comfortable operating on the left wing.

Although he has primarily featured for Flamengo`s Under-20 side, Yan has also made 18 appearances for the senior team.

The young forward has already contributed six senior goals and three senior assists. It remains to be seen whether Wolves` expected offer of €20 million will prove sufficient to bring him to Molineux before the end of the summer transfer window.

In recent seasons, Premier League clubs have increasingly looked towards the Brazilian market for talented prospects. Wolves themselves have previously signed midfielders like Andre from Fluminense.

The presence of other Brazilian players in the first-team squad, such as Joao Gomes and recent signing Pedro Lima, could provide reassurance and assist Yan in settling into life at the English club should the transfer materialise.
