Spanish actress Ester Exposito has addressed the persistent rumors suggesting a romantic relationship with Real Madrid’s star forward, Kylian Mbappe. Speculation about a potential romance intensified last month after the pair were reportedly seen leaving the same hotel in Paris.
Mbappe, a highly visible public figure in the Spanish capital, frequently features in the country’s gossip columns. The rumors gained further traction in March when he and Exposito were spotted at the same Paris hotel during Mbappe’s recovery from an injury. Subsequent images then emerged showing them arriving back in Madrid, where Exposito also resides.
Ester Exposito Shares Thoughts on Mbappe Speculation
Speaking to Hola magazine recently following a Rosalia concert, Exposito expressed her enjoyment of the event. When directly questioned about her interest in football, the actress stated, “The truth is, not a lot,” despite having been seen at the Santiago Bernabeu just two weeks prior for the Madrid derby. “It was a good game,” Exposito added briefly.
Regarding the “couple” speculation and being asked what “mark” she would give Mbappe, Exposito offered a coy response: “I’m not going to say anything, so…”
Guardiola’s Witty Remark on Mbappe’s Trip
At the time of Mbappe’s trip to Paris for treatment, controversy arose in some Spanish media outlets, with critics suggesting he should have remained with Los Blancos’ medical staff. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was questioned about Mbappe’s decision and how he would view his own players doing similar. Guardiola responded with a grin, “It looks like he didn’t go alone,” before clarifying that he generally had no issue with players returning home during injuries, as it was common practice.
Exposito is not entirely unfamiliar with the Real Madrid squad, having reportedly attended Fede Valverde’s birthday party several years ago.
